Big Woo Films

Carrington now has a weekly sketch comedy podcast called The Monster Feet Variety Show

Welcome to Big Woo Films!

Carrington's Comedy Podcast (July 4, 2005)
Carrington's new way of venting his spleen, among other organs, is a weekly sketch comedy podcast called The Monster Feet Variety Show. It's sometimes mildly offensive, except for the bit about "mildly," so this is not a work-safe show. So crank up the speakers in the cubical next to you and get that bothersome coworker fired with a little help from Big Woo's resident writer/director/control-freak.

Carrington Talking at Pop Culture Conference (June 27, 2005)
Big Woo Films writer/director Carrington Vanston is giving a talk at the New Perspectives on Pop Culture, Science and Technology conference this Thursday, June 30, 2005, in Toronto. Carrington is speaking as part of the "Freedom & Censorship" trio, in Room S2152 at 1:15PM. The conference includes lunch and 3 refreshment breaks, so you can heckle him with your mouth full.

Pioneer Palooza II (October 20, 2004)
Sorry for the last minute reminder: Tonight, Wednesday, October 20, 2004, is the second annual fundraiser/networking-event, sponsored by all the major studios operating in Canada (e.g., MGM, Disney, Paramount, Lion's Gate, etc.). The event is held at the Schmooze night club at 15 Mercer Street (near King & John). Doors open at 7:00 PM.

Cast Found! ADR Continuing (June 8, 2004)
We have found the last of the Duck Duck Goose actors needed for ADR! Thanks to everyone who helped work their local branch of the grapevine!

ATTENTION: Cast & Crew of Duck Duck Goose (May 16, 2004)
After a whole lot of editing, post-burn re-editing, frame-by-frame reconstruction of damaged footage, and other hurdles, Big Woo's feature film, Duck Duck Goose, is finally in the home stretch! We have begun ADR sessions with the actors but are having trouble reaching some of them. If you or someone you know was a part of Duck Duck Goose, please have them drop us a note with their current contact information. Or they can give us a call at 416-778-9322. This is also important so we can distribute copies of the finished film to all involved. Thanks!

Eat Carrington's Words (January 1, 2004)
Carrington Vanston has launched a weekly online humor column called Eat My Words On Wednesday. It's full of strong opinions and satire, which if you've met him won't surprise you one bit. ;-) Chow down every Wednesday ... it's the meal you eat with a mouse.
